Facial harmony is brought about by creating a beautiful smile makeover that closely mimics natural teeth. The Smile Design process involves

FIRST APPOINTMENT
Detailed analysis of the face, lips, teeth, jaw measured and recorded and photos & molds taken.

SECOND APPOINTMENT
The new smile is previewed on the photo and in the mouth as a Mock Up. Dr. Shaikh fits a Mock Up smile to the patient. Minimal changes are made. This unique step allows patients to test drive their new, improved smile.

THIRD APPOINTMENT
Dr. Shaikh minimally shapes the patient's teeth for making space for veneers to fit. The mold of teeth are sent to lab and temporary veneers are fit in mouth as the patient will wear this temporary smile until the lab custom makes the permanent veneers.

FOURTH APPOINTMENT
After wearing the temporary smile, the patient returns to office provide insight on the look and fit of their temporary veneers. Using this insight, a master ceramist makes a new mold before creating the permament veneers.

FIFTH APPOINTMENT
Dr. Shaikh fits the permanent veneers in the patient's mouth after removing the temporary veneers and the patient receives their new, permanent smile.

SIXTH APPOINTMENT
During this final re-contouring appointment, Dr. Shaikh applies the finishing touches to the patientís new smile. It occurs one to two days after the veneers are fitted.

1 YEAR FOLLOW-UP
Veneers, if treated properly, should look and feel great for up to 15 years after their placement. Most patients forget they have them after a month or so because facial muscles adapt to the new teeth and make them look more natural than the day they were put in.
